Suad in Spain, 2012: Part Four – Museums
(Text and photos: Suad Bejtovic) About the only thing I knew about Madrid before going there was that it is the home of one of the world’s most famous museums, Prado. After doing some research before the visit, I realized that at least two other Madrid museums are worth the visit – Reina Sofia and [...]
Suad in Spain, 2012: Part Three – Toledo
(Text and photos by Suad Bejtovic) Madrid is obviously one of those cities where you can spend endless weeks sightseeing, soaking in the culture and food. Nevertheless, although my visit was only about a week long, I wanted to take a quick day trip to some of the landmark sites outside of the city. I [...]
Suad in Spain, 2012: Part Two – Food & Drinks

Dave & Nick’s European Adventure, 2002 – pt. 4
After a full day of sight-seeing today, I can give you a full report on Barcelona – in one word, AWESOME! The city is really beautiful, albeit smoggy like Hamilton, but the architecture and scenery is amazing. Couple that with being on the Mediterranean Sea, and it’s pretty much a match made in heaven.
Dave & Nick’s European Adventure, 2002 – pt. 3
While getting up at 5am wasn’t the best experience in the world, we packed up our stuff and checked out of the hostel with more than enough time to make it to the train station. The train ride from Paris to Barcelona had some pretty nice views. We each managed to snag our own two [...]
